Standing in the gap for others can only happen when we are vulnerable to the Spirit. Our personal relationship with God must be good before we can hear the call to help others. Author Brene Brown said, “If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper, and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.

When we refer to the Gap, we mean being present in the moment, fully aware of our internal state and external surroundings. It's the space between our random thoughts and inner dialogue that is the source of peace, joy, and happiness.

Here at Standing in the Gap we offer a wide range of programs both in Warrensburg, MO and in our Location in Kenya. We have both a men and women's discipleship house, we offer prison ministries, and also a food pantry.
